The purpose of this position is to carry out routine day-to-day accounting of fund structures under the direction of a Financial Reporting Manager.
Key responsibilities:
- Bookkeep a complex range of funds, management companies and associated fund structures and liaise with clients and intermediaries as necessary
- Complete all aspects of accounting matters for a portfolio of fund structures, including the preparation, reconciliation and proofing of investor reports, statutory financial statements, and ad-hoc investor queries
- Deal with the completion of routine audit queries
- Prepare periodic bank reconciliations and provide supporting documentation evidencing transactions
- Maintain accurate records on systems and Microsoft Excel working paper schedules for all aspects of accounting
- Deal with the preparation and reconciliation of periodic direct and indirect tax returns
- Act as a mentor to junior staff under the supervision of senior staff
- The candidate will be expected to be part qualified with a relevant professional qualification (preferably having commenced ACCA Professional level or ACA Advanced level)
- Previous real estate experience is a requirement
- Strong financial services experience
- Computer literacy skills are essential
Meeting 12/2024:
Putting priority on recruiting for UK and Ireland to staff their offices there as Luxembourg is over 700 employees.
Regardless, they see an increase of activity and noted all the placements done with us.
Meeting February 2024:
There is a big decrease in recruitment activity; they are still growing but probably only around 10% rate compared to 40% 3 years ago.
They have reached almost 700 people in Lux, making it the biggest office internationally.
As there are 3 recruiters and decrease activity, they will need to direct source more however they keep Ergon in mind as a good agency and mentioned it is a pleasure for them to work with us. They are working with 5-6 agencies actively but they will decrease it a little.
As the tax season ends in March, the new budgets for the teams will be set in April, and the recruitment will likely increase then.
They expect around 20/30% turnover.
Offering 2.5 days : the good Friday and 3 half-days in Christmas (afternoon of the 24th and 31st and an additional one to be taken when they wish),
28 days of holidays as from January 2025

- B - Officer: 40k- 51k
- C1- Senior Officer: between 50-62k
- C2 – Senior Officer: between 57k – 72k
- D- Manager 1: between 64-81k
- E- Manager 2: between 73-92k
- F- Senior Manager: between 86-108k
- G- Associate Director: between 102k-128k
- H – Director: between 125k -157k
- H2 – Senior Director : between 145k – 181k
