We have a requirement for a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join the growing Benelux office.
This role is based in our office in Antwerp, but connected to our UK operations.
As the Quality Assurance (QA) Coordinator you will be working closely with the UK Head of Quality and the Belgium management team to support implementation and monitoring of PM Group’s Quality Management System (QMS) across the office and associated sites (including Managed Services sites).
Responsibilities
- Promoting consistent quality assurance practices across the office and associated construction and managed service sites
- Implementing the office Quality Objectives Programme in line with the planned schedule
- Assisting with QMS inductions and core QMS document awareness training
- Driving the adoption of critical company procedures (core QMS documents)
- Performing internal audits (office & site) in accordance with the audit schedule
- Following up on audit findings to drive the resolution and close out of outstanding actions
- Facilitating audits by external parties, i.e. certification bodies, Customer, etc.
- Ensuring adequate focus is put on the planning and initiation phase of new projects
- Assisting the management team and the UK Head of Quality to identify and implement improvement initiatives
- Assisting with the development of localised procedures where required, ensuring consistency and compliance to PM Group’s QMS
- Providing timely updates as required for monthly reports / management meetings
- Facilitating the capture and transfer of lessons on projects
- Supporting the customer feedback process, including analysis of results and identification of process improvements
- Providing advice and assistance to management and employees on compliance / QMS related queries
- Supporting the UK Head of Quality with day to day activities as needed
Qualifications
- Qualification in related subject (e.g. Quality Management, Business or Engineering) is preferable although not essential
- Experience working in a similar position in an engineering service or consultancy environment would be desirable.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management standard is expected.
- Excellent IT skills - Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Accuracy and attention to detail essential
- Ability to effectively prioritise and execute multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Proven problem solving ability and knowledge of Problem Solving tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English is essential
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
- Self-motived, assertive and result orientated with a positive outlook.
